Calculator - This Will Come To Pass LP

If you haven’t been in the loop, Cali band Calculator launched a kickstarter/pre-order for their new LP ‘This Will Come To Pass’. Well that’s over with. HOWEVER, their new album is up streaming on their bandcamp now.http://calc.bandcamp.com/

If you missed out on the kickstarter (like me), don’t fret! Regular pre-orders of the LP will be going up July 1st. And if you’re excited as I am about I Got Brains Fest this year, make sure to check their set out. I sure as shit am.

This Will Come To Pass is a solid release with too many standout tracks to point out; so I will point some out. Please listen to/check out ‘Becoming//Whisperings in Sleep’, ‘Brooding Over’, and ‘Reverie’. Some goosebump enducing tracks right there; especially the opening to ‘Reverie’. If you are a fan of Ten Thousand Leagues, We Were Skeletons, or Jowls; chances are you will enjoy this passionate punk record.

Senja Dalam Prosa have developed a sound that really does please the ears with with this newest EP. Further enriching the Indonesian Screamo and Post-Rock scenes respectively. Wonderful ambient soundscapes provide the backdrop to their monolithic and intense song structures. Its only downfall is that it’s only 2 songs in content which in turn demands repeated listens. Recommended for fans of Envy, Jesu, and delay pedal enthusiasts.
